General Assistant

Glenmoriston Arms is currently looking for General Assistants to work in our 11 bedroom country hotel for the season, Mid March-November. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Glenmoriston Team.
Duties will include waiting, bar work and housekeeping.
Due to the nature of the business you must be able to work evenings and weekends including split shifts and possess the following skills:
- Excellent communication
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have great organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- A customer focused team player
- A positive, friendly & energetic attitude even under pressure
- Adaptable & flexible
- Have a problem solving attitude


Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Wage is dependent on age and experience. Live in positions available.

Kitchen Porter

Glenmoriston Arms is currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to work in our 11 bedroom country hotel for the season, Mid March-November. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Glenmoriston Team.

As a kitchen porter duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation, whilst maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and adhering to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Due to the nature of the business you must be able to work evenings and weekends including split shifts and possess the following skills:

- Exceptionally well organised & methodical
- A customer focused team player
- A positive, friendly & energetic attitude even under pressure

Chef de Partie/Commis Chef

Glenmoriston Arms is currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie or Commis Chef to work in our 11 bedroom country hotel for the season, Mid March- November. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Glenmoriston Team.
Your role will be to work alongside our Head Chef within a small team in the day to day running of the kitchen.

Requirements
-A least 1 years experience working in a kitchen
- Capable of working on your own or within a team
-Ability to work well under pressure
- A good level of knowledge of all sections of the kitchen
-Good attention to detail
-Positive attitude
-Passion for food
-Knowledge of HACCP and Environmental Procedures
- Good personal hygiene
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate
-Willing to learn

Part Time Housekeeper- Live Out

Glenmoriston Arms is currently looking for a Houskeeper to work in our 11 bedroom country hotel for the season, Mid March-November. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Glenmoriston Team.
Main duties would include cleaning and preparing our guest bedrooms for occupancy and working within the Housekeeping team assisting with laundry and deep cleaning tasks.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Good attention to detail
- Have great organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Have good communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Capable of working on your own or within a team
